Using Cursor with NanoGPT

Want to use Cursor with NanoGPT? Here's how simple it is.

Setup Instructions

  1. Get your API key from nano-gpt.com/api
  2. In Cursor settings:
    • Override OpenAI Base URL with: https://nano-gpt.com/api/v1/
    • Set the API Key to your NanoGPT API key
    • Click "+ Add Model" to add any of our models you want to use

Important: When adding models in Cursor, prefix the model name with nanogpt/. For example:

  • nanogpt/o1
  • nanogpt/claude-3-5-sonnet-20241022
  • nanogpt/yi-lightning
  • nanogpt/deepseek/deepseek-chat

That's it! You can now use any of our models in Cursor.
