September shifted the payment mix toward Monero and stablecoins. Monero remained the largest payment method at 44.02%, while USDT overtook on-chain Bitcoin for second place.

Stablecoins reach 22.95%
USDT increased from 12.01% to 15.66%, while USDC rose from 6.38% to 7.29%. Together, USDT and USDC accounted for 22.95% of crypto deposit value, up from 18.39% in August. PYUSD added another 0.04%.

Combined, Bitcoin and Lightning represented 14.15%, compared with 26.90% in August. These figures measure payment share; a lower share alone does not establish a fall in absolute deposit volume.

Ethereum increased from 2.60% to 3.22%, and Solana rose from 1.90% to 2.97%. Nano declined from 4.36% to 2.57%, while Bitcoin Cash fell from 3.15% to 1.48%.
